Provides a new view to organized playThere are thousands of games and activities that have been created to assist in the development of motor skills, imagination, social skills, muscular strength and general physical fitness. Among the most universally used of all activity equipment, parachutes have always had a significant drawback. When under a regular parachute, an individual is cut off from direct visual supervision from the outside. It is also darker and those underneath can not see out. As a result, in many settings, a large number of educationally sound activities are removed from the curriculum.
In the Line of SightThe exclusive Porthole Parachute simply eliminates this problem from the "play equation." Large, heavy-duty, mesh portholes are perfectly positioned in every panel to provide clear visibility from inside or out. There is more light underneath the parachute as it billows. Teachers can now watch over as well as direct play under the chute. The Porthole Parachute is also unique in that its design eliminated the need for the top "vent hole."
A 3/8" Rope Cable Designed To Absorb Nearly 100% Of ForceYou'll find an incredibly strong, 3/8"-diameter, braided, polyester rope cable. You'll see that no force is ever directly exerted on chute material or seams. This proprietary design results in 100% of the force being transferred to the rope, no matter how you grab the chute.
Super-Durable HandlesHandles are set inside the hem, rolled around the rope, and then stitched to itself. The result is a 4-layer construction, where stitching goes through the handle webbing, through the first layer on nylon, back through the webbing, and out through a 2nd layer of nylon. This manufacturing technique marries handle, rope and chute nylon into a single integrated unit.
